Patrick Lofts was an adaptive re-use of the historic Patrick-Decker building, formerly a dry goods warehouse and store, built in 1914 in downtown Salt Lake City. A center courtyard was created by cutting through the historic concrete floors opening up the center of the building to natural light and air. Fourty condominium units were arranged on the north and south sides of the courtyard. The main floor was preserved as retail/restaurant space and the basement as parking with a rear entrance ramp. The roof was provided with stair and elevator access where a large community terrace and ten private roof terrace spaces were constructed.
